Letter of the communities in Fusṭāṭ and Cairo to the community in Ascalon (April 1100 CE). Mentions that at the instigation of the Nagid Mevorakh 123 dinars were collected and sent to Ascalon for ransoming the Torah scrolls and the captives after the invasion of the Crusaders (1099); mentions Manṣūr b. [left blank], also known as Ibn al-Muʿallima ('son of the female teacher').
