This dataset was used in the publication entitled "The effectiveness of policy on consumer choices for private road passenger transport emissions reductions in six major economies", published in Environmental Research Letters. It relates numbers of registrations in 2012 of private passenger vehicles to their prices, manufacturer rated emissions and engine sizes. Vehicle names have been removed from the dataset wherever commercial data from www.marklines.com were used, due to copyright policy.
