Description

This data consists of the outputs of the in-house Lagrangian solver "SteamLag" used in the paper "A Comparison of Modelling Techniques for Polydispersed Droplet Spectra in Steam Turbines" (Hughes et al, 2015). The data includes relevant flow parameters as functions of time (including pressure, gas temperature, subcooling, wetness fraction, the first four moments of the droplet spectrum, and the increase in entropy due to irreversible phase change) and the complete droplet spectra at outlet (including droplet number, droplet diameter, and wetness contribution) for each technique considered and for each comparison case. The cases modelled are described in the paper.
