Description
This brochure accompanies a small exhibition entitled 'The Other Selwyn: John Richardson Selwyn in Melanesia and Cambridge' held in Selwyn College Library (8-24 September 2017). The brochure reflects on the life of John Richardson Selwyn (1844-1898), Bishop of Melanesia, second Master of Selwyn College in Cambridge, and generous collector and donor to the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. It was the result of a collaboration between the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology and Selwyn College Cambridge.
