Abstract
Garya recounts how people celebrated Tsagan Sar in his village. He says that Tsagan Sar is a joyous holiday. In the past old people used to go from one house to the next, congratulating everyone. On this day people took their clothes out of storage and hung them up. People also presented their grandchildren (born from their daughters) with sheep’s legs. Daughters-in-law were supposed to greet guests. On this day, it was said, Okn Tengri descended from the sky.
