The writer, apparently on travel, is very worried about his children as he has not received any letters when he had stayed in Alexandria for two months. He describes that 'Muslims and Jews were not separated from those they were negotiating with', and mentions the names Abū Manṣūr, his father, possibly Abū l-Maʿālī, a Ḥaver, Abū l-Surūr, [...] ha-Levi. *e Verso is inverted in relation to recto.
