Description

280 x 212 mm. Showing four men preparing quills of cinnamon. After the bark has been removed from the branch it dries and curls. The procedure seen here is that of packing the smaller lengths inside the larger to form canes about three feet long. Annotated '794' on the bottom right hand corner of the photograph. Date approximate.
