Unknown author (2004). Tamasese distributing arms, Apia, Samoa [digital image]. http://www.dspace.cam.ac.uk/handle/1810/1389
Description
200 x 145 mm. A view showing Tamasese sitting on the ground, with rifles in front of him, and people sitting around. British sailors stand on the verandah of the building in the background. Tamasese was vice-king to Malietoa Tahu, whom Britain supported for the kingship. The arms seen here were probably from British or American sources.
