Abstract
Three parts of a walk round Cambridge Colleges and University in August 2006. The first part goes from the Senate House, through St. John's and Trinity to Queen's College. The second part is about King's College. The third part deals with laboratories, museums and libraries on the Old Cavendish, New Museums and Downing Sites. The walks are punctuated by unrehearsed short talks by Alan Macfarlane about various features of Cambridge. Some of the facts are slightly wrong (e.g. King's College was founded in 1441 and not 1446).
Description
The questions are asked by Xiaolong Guan and the filming is by Xiaoxiao Yan. The films last about 40 minutes each. All filmed on one afternoon in August 2006.
