In this experiment, the performance of a energy efficient hybrid Mach-Zehnder – SOA optical switch was tested. The Bit error rate, gain at different wavelengths and loss budget of this switch are measured.
This research data supports "Low-Energy, Dilated 4x4 Hybrid MZI-SOA Cross-point Optical Switch" which will be published in "European Conference on Integrated Optics"
