Maximum data throughput of an optical communications link and mesh network, operating in the nonlinear regime as a function of the length scale. Results are from analytical estimation of channel properties and integer linear progamme optimisation of routing and wavelength assignment. The published paper and its links to previous published works contains full details of the methods and algorithms used to obtain these results.
