Description

Momentum- and energy-resolved tunneling conductance data for a 1D-2D vertical device, consisting of an array of 6000 wires (1 μm long), electrostatically patterned in the upper layer of a GaAs/AlGaAs double-quantum-well structure. These measurements were carried out at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge, in 2014. Dataset also includes results of modelling of the excitation dispersions revealed by the tunneling experiments. This research data supports the conclusions of the article entitled "Nonlinear spectra of spinons and holons in short GaAs quantum wires".

This research data supports the conclusions of the article entitled "Nonlinear spectra of spinons and holons in short GaAs quantum wires", which is published in Nature Communications.

Data are contained in a .zip archive. Within this archive, there are: (i) raw conductance data [.txt] acquired with C J B Ford's CryoMeas program, (ii) Matlab scripts [.m] to plot Figs. 3, 5, and 6 of the associated article, (iii) Matlab general routines [.m] called by the plotting scripts, (iv) figure plots [.pdf] including explanatory notes, and (v) a “readme-first” file [.pdf] explaining how to plot the raw data and the model dispersions with Matlab.
