Abstract
G.I.Jones tells of his childhood, his long service in Nigeria as a
colonial officer, his return to Cambridge to teach colonial cadets and other
anthropologists. Many reminiscences of life in West Africa and in Cambridge,
including figures such as Hutton, Fortune and others.
