Description
We used flow cytometry to investigate intercellular distribution of E. coli tryptophanase, the enzyme that synthesize indole. The data fill the gap in studies of tryptophanase and corroborated previous works by other groups. We found that tryptophanase level in individual cells is highly heterogeneous.
