Abstract

Badma reminisces about what Kalmyks ate in Siberia. She says that they ate corn, potatoes, porridge and biscuits. Meat was in short supply. People also made a dish from potatoes, eggs, cabbage, beetroot and sprat all mixed together in water. When she was in Siberia, her diet included berries, vegetables, margarine and fat.
