Abstract

Galina says that during Zul Kalmyks light candles, recite prayers and cook festive food, including milk tea, biscuits, meat, soup, bulmg, etc. They welcome and feed their guests. Tsagan Sar is also a great holiday during which people fry various biscuit varieties, including tselvg, which symbolizes the sun. When Galina was a child, her grandmother made bundles of biscuits for each family and sent Galina to deliver them.
