Description

The data-set contains the soot particle size distribution along the centreline of n-heptane/toluene fed co-flow diffusion flames. The samples from within the flame were taken with a newly developed quartz sampling probe (technical drawing attached) and passed to a Differential Mobility Spectrometer (DMS500).

Software / Usage instructions

The four CSV files are named after the n-heptane/toluene mixture used. E.g., the file 95H5T.csv contains the particle size distribution along the centreline of a 95 mol% n-heptane 5 mol% toluene flame. The first column of the table is the height above burner in mm; the top row is the particle diameter in nm. The particle number density is given in dN/dlogD (1/cm^3).
