Abstract

Nadezhda says the following: After they occupied our area, the German soldiers set out to search for Communists. Those who were captured were either shot dead or tortured. A man called Delikov Avsa, who was the zaisang Lapin’s relative, defended his people. When the Soviets came to power after the Revolution, they began to dekulakize the rich. Out of the 500 families from the Akhnud clan, only 60 were left after that. The rest were sent to Siberia, some fled to Ukraine, Kabardino-Balkaria and other places.
