Abstract
Sanal talks about the famous healer Namka: Namka lived in Altsynkhuta and cured sick people. He knew how to treat various diseases. People came to see him not only from Kalmykia but from other parts of Russia. A kind and generous man, he helped people not only as a doctor, but also as an astrologer. People often came to him for advice. He had medicines that were sent to him from the Caucasus, Mongolia and Tibet. He kept his notes in Tibetan or Todo Bichig (Clear Script).
