Genius representing the liberal arts, depicted though several objects dispersed on the grounds: music (music sheet, guitar and trumpet), grammar and eloquence (books), poetry (laurels), sculpture and painting (the head of a statue and painter's palette). This is one of two paintings of the "Genius of the arts" that Bononi did. In the backgound is depicted an armor which may stand as the oposite to the positive values of the arts (destructive war).
