Description
A mock masquerade admission ticket portraying a debauched scene. The clock at the top shows John James Heidegger's face, with the hour hand representing 'Wit', the minute hand 'Impertinence', the second hand 'Nonsense'. The inscription at the bottom explains that the 'Lecherometers' which display people's inclinations in the form of a barometer have been 'Invented for the use of Ladys & Gentlemen by ye Ingenious Mr: H- --------r'.
