Abstract

This video is about Torghut herders’ daily life, focusing on dairy food production. The usual procedure is as follows: First boil milk to collect cream. Second, stir fermented milk to obtain butter. And third, use the remaining fermented milk to make cheese.People reminisced that when they were young, they never had so much food like today. In summertime, children were never fed rice, but only dairy food, and they were never allowed to eat from the plates with their parents.
