Abstract
Hongwei has been a furniture maker for about 20 years and his wife and son are also involved in his work. He says that back in the 1990s when he started his business, few people were interested in furniture with traditional patterns. Over the last decade, however, most people in Ejine have refurbished their yurts and their interiors in traditional Torghut styles. In the video, Hongwei explains the Torghut traditional patterns he has painted on furniture.
