Abstract
This video shows the daily chores of an elderly couple – Malu and Haraldai – spending their summer in the farm to help their children. Malu is repairing horse tags, while Haraldai is renewing the yurt's strings called hoshlong. Haraldai also explains the structure of the jolom they live in. Jolom, a small yurt, is made up of terim (wooden trellis), harach (roof poles), and deever (door and felt cover), and it is warmer than an actual yurt. Its small size can also make it easy to transport by animals.
