Following the 2020 general election in Ireland, no party achieved an overall majority in the Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish Parliament. The previous governing party, Fine Gael, came third and no coalition government has yet been formed at the time of writing. Despite, and because of, the uncertainty, there have been some developments in the areas covered in previous issues of FamRZ.
