Description

General description of the temperature data used in the paper: There are seven data files containing the three-dimensional data sets (temperature against distance and time) captured by the Halo DTS analyser manufactured by Sensornet Ltd. File names are: 0am_20150401.csv; 0am_20150503.csv; 12am_20150504.csv; 0am_20150529.csv; 23pm_20150612.csv; 0am_20150614.csv In each file the y axis is time, and the name of each file indicates the starting time and date (i.e. 0am, 20150401; 0am, 20150503; 12am, 20150504; 0am, 20150529; 23pm, 20150612; 0am, 20150614). The total measurement time for each file is 24 hours. The time interval between each data point is 2 minutes. The x axis is distance, starting from 0 m at the location of the DTS analyser. The total distance in each file is 1218m. The distance interval between each data point is 2.03m. The temperature unit is degree Celsius, time interval: 2 minutes, distance interval: 2.03m.
