Abstract

jats:titleAjats:scbstract</jats:sc> </jats:title>jats:pThe jats:italicB</jats:italic>jats:sup+</jats:sup> → jats:italicJψη</jats:italic>′jats:italicK</jats:italic>jats:sup+</jats:sup> decay is observed for the first time using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fbjats:supjats:italic−</jats:italic>1</jats:sup>. A first look at the jats:italicJ/ψη</jats:italic>′ mass distribution is performed and no signal of intermediate resonances is observed.</jats:p>
