Abstract
Evaluation fieldwork at Arbury Camp was completed on the l3.1ll.95 ,after one week's fieldwork. The evaluation was designed to assess the survival, character and significance of deposits on the site for preservation and design purposes. The evaluation followed the aims set out in Arbury Project Design 1995 (CAU 1995) based on a specification agreed between the Cambridgeshire County Council Development Control Office Archaeological Section (CAO) and Countryside Planning and Manc1gernent (CPM). The work was undertaken as part of a programme archaeological work, specified by CPM, ahead of proposed development of a retail store for J Sainsbury plc.
