Abstract
This video shows the interior and exterior of a temple in the village of Tsagan-Aman as it was videotaped in July 2014. Designed by the architect Vladimir Gilyandikov, the temple was built near a house where the lama Tugmyud (1887-1980) lived. The temple houses a large statue of the Buddha Shakyamuni as well as thangkas of other Buddhist deities that were brought from Mongolia or Tibet. The bronze statues of Buddhist gods that decorate the interior were cast in Nepal and brought to the temple by its abbot Avsan Baldjinyima from Beijing.
