Abstract
Critically analyses the Court of Appeal's decision in TL (2018) that inducements to commit a crime offered by non-state actors ('non-state entrapment') can result in the staying of proceedings (as an abuse of process) against a person who accepts that inducement. Argues that the Court of Appeal's apparent test for staying proceedings is overly restrictive.
