Description

This online study assessed the impact of health warning labels (HWLs) on energy-dense snack selection. Participants completed an online selection task where they selected a snack from a selection of 12 snacks, 6 energy-dense and 6 non-energy-dense. Depending on the condition participants were randomised to, the energy-dense snacks displayed 1) image-and-text HWLs 2) text-only HWLs 3) no HWLs, with or without calorie information.
