Abstract
Thermographic PIV is a recently developed technique that can achieve simultaneous 2D temperature and velocity measurements in turbulent flows/flames by seeding phosphor particles as a tracer. In essence it is a combination of particle image velocimetry (PIV) and laser-induced phosphorescence (LIP).
