CIJ build-up publication supplemental material

Change log

Description

Avi videos converted from original cine files (captured with Phantom Camera Control software) to be used as supplemental material linked to three figures in the associated publication. The videos show the path followed by microparticles stemming from a chain of printed droplets generated from a Continuous Inkjet Printing (CIJ) printhead. The title of the videos describe the printing conditions for two different tested inks (dye-black, BL2, and pigmented-yellow, YL1). The location of the visualisation window is in all cases around the middle of the printhead and the modulation voltage is 60 V and 30 V. Two of the five videos show the videos named as "raw" after being modified (changing gain, gamma, saturation and white balance, as well as using colour interpolation algorithms). The videos were taken with a PhantomV710. Other optical arrangement and conditions are described in the associated publication. The purpose of this work was understanding the origin of particulate matter deposited on the deflecting electrodes of CIJ printheads through the visualisation of the printing process.
