Abstract

Hashiin Gol River in Nilah County originated from Har Horoo, which is the border of the Ili Kazakh Autonomous prefecture and Bayangol Mongolian Autonomous prefecture, has dozens of tributary small rivers including Sachain Gol, Har Bagal Gol, Modot Gol, Bargaat Gol, Tsagan Us Spring, Serhet, Mönkhet, Tamgaal, and Ever Oboo. Among them, Tsagaan Us Spring is one of the most popular springs known for its various disease-healing functions, effective for headaches, arthritis, stomach ailments and many more. Today, electricity power companies have built over fifteen power stations along the Hashiin Gol River, reducing water flow in all seasons, as well as the destruction of biodiversity of natural resources.
