Software / Usage instructions

Fluorescence data measured on a plate reader is submitted as .xls files, which can be read in standard software such as Matlab, Python, Excel. Confocal microscopy images are uploaded in the Leica file format “.lif,” as it contains all the metadata, such as, pixel size, measurement time and z-plane information for the z-stacks. The “.lif” files can be read in ImageJ, Python or Matlab using the respective Bioformats plug-in/library. The SAXS data is uploaded as “.nxs” files in Averaged non background subtracted and background subtracted versions. The data can be opened with free software called DAWN, available on the Diamond Light source website (https://www.diamond.ac.uk/Science/Computing/Data-Analysis.html).
