Recto: family letter addressed to Sarah, daughter of the elder Maymūn; mentions Sarah's cousin, the mother of the writer and the names Mūsā the Ugly (al-kāfūš) and Isaac the cantor. Verso: address and another letter in a different script; probably the reply or the preceding letter 'from your sister' Sarah.
Description
Spanish hands; both al-šayḵ in the address and al-salām in the letter are written with assimilated article.
