Description
German version of Abraham Bosse's plate Graveurs en taille douce au Burin et à Leaue forte, published in Paris in 1654 within his Traité des manières de graver en taille-douce (Treatise on Eching and Engraving). This German version includes Bosse's original image, but was printed with a different text in German, as well as a new title highlighting the 'Ingenious' (sinnreich) nature of the etcher-engraver.
