Abstract
Bembya says the following: In medieval literature, both in Europe and Central Asia, plagiarism was not seen as a bad thing. It was part of culture at that time. Authors copied texts from their predecessors. Most Tibetan authors compiled information by obtaining it from other sources. This statement is true even for the writings of the lama Tsongkhapa. This method created a kind of continuity. Authors came to the fore only in our time of individualism. In the past, authors did not even sign their works.
