Abstract
Cambridge Archaeological Unit carried out an archaeological evaluation on land at the sewage treatment works, Upwood, Cambridgeshire; with the aim of establishing the presence, date, scope and extent of any subsoil archaeological features. The evaluation consequently comprised a systematic programme of trial trenching over the area. The trench within the sewage works compound revealed low-density archaeological activity in the form of drainage/boundary ditches.
