Dordzhi Nandyshev, about where to put candles for Buddhas and one’s personal protectors

Change log

Terbish, Baasanjav

Dordzhi says that there are two kinds of candles, one dedicated to Buddhas and the other lit for one’s personal spiritual protectors. He explains where to put which candle: My mother told me about her neighbors who were an old couple. I do not remember which clan they were from. That old women used to say that candles for Buddhas should be put on the domestic altar, whereas candles for one’s personal protectors should be placed under one’s bed.
