Abstract

With the number of COVID-19 deaths continuing to rise, a central issue moving forward remains the mitigation of COVID-19 transmission risk. Policies mandating face masks, frequent testing, and social distancing constitute public health tools in achieving this end. However, another tool available that has received less attention is risk communication. The pandemic raises unique ethical challenges concerning how risk should be communicated to citizens.
