A view showing a group of black-robed monks on a verandah. This photograph may possibly show the monastery of Saint Panteleimon. The photograph appears in Thomson's 'Through Cyprus with the camera, in the autumn of 1878' (vol.2, London: Sampson Low, Marston, Searle, and Rivington, 1879).
