Abstract
Removal of a concrete floor during building and repair work in the basement of 76 Trumpington Street in October 1995 revealed a substantial clunch lined well. Stripping of modern facings also gave access to wall elevations related to earlier buildings on the site. Work was paused to allow a rapid recording to be made by the author and David Edgar of the University's Estate Management and Building Service.
