Abstract
An archaeological evaluation was carried out in advance of the siting of a proposed irrigation reservoir on land at Flat Bridge Farm, Haddenham, Cambs. The work was commissioned by A.G. Wright and Sons (Farms) Ltd. and completed by the Cambridge Archaeological Unit (C.A.U.) in response to an archaeological brief issued by the Cambridgeshire County Archaeology Office (C.A.O.). The field work was carried out by a team of professional archaeologists from the C.A.U., directed by the author, in the week of 8-15 September 1997. Finds included Bronze Age cremation in an inverted urn and a Middle Iron Age settlement close to the fen edge.
