Abstract
In this video, Gonchig shared 150 Oirat Mongolian proverbs that he had collected from elders over the years. As Gonchig explained, lacking a recording device to capture the wisdom from elders, he endeavoured to commit to memory and transcribe their teachings. Particularly memorable were his repeated visits to an elder named Ochirin Badma in Jasag Banner. Despite Badma imparting over 300 proverbs to Gonching, he regrettably managed to memorise only half of them, meticulously jotting them down in his modest notebook.
