The sketches and observations fill up the endpapers (front and back) of the IoA Library copy of "Allgemeine beschreibung und nachweisung der gestirne = Description et connoissance generale des constellations / par J.E. Bode". Published: Berlin : Der Verfasser = L'Auteur, 1801. They mention use of a 5-foot telescope, and there is a suggestion they are connected to Sir John Herschel.
