Abstract
The Kalmyks were sent into exile when Anatoliy was two. In Siberia he was constantly ill but studied hard in school. After the exile, he returned to Yashkul’ rayon in Kalmykia where he worked for many years in a secondary school. He was also an instructor in the Yashkul’ regional committee of the Communist Party.
