Description

The data is the ozone climatology from Fortuin and Langematz (1994) as it is used in the radiation code of the ECMWF IFS to generate the ERA-Interim reanalysis dataset (Dee et al. 2011). The data is in ppmv on 36 vertical levels and 19 latitudinal bands. This is then internally interpolated on the grid used by the model before entering radiation. References: Fortuin, J. P., and U.
