An outbreak of dry rot led to the lifting of the floors in both of the toilets immediately north of the Chapel, and flagstones within the intervening 'F Stair Passage, during the winter break of 1994/95 (TL 45235890). The main area of excavation was in the Men's toilets (immediately south of the Fellow's Cloak Room) and extended beneath the passageway stairs (Area A; fig. 2; 27sq m in total).
