Abstract

This video explores two themes: traditional cultural performances and the geographical features of Khoshut County along with their Mongolian names. Firstly, Sanjara discusses the contemporary performance trends of the Epic Jangar and Topshur in Xinjiang. According to his observations, traditional cultural artists today often deviate from the original style of performance to meet the requirements of the government, audiences, organisers, and the limited time available for stage performances. Secondly, having been born and raised in Khoshut County and worked in the pastureland management department, Sanjara possesses extensive knowledge of the local pasturelands and related geographical information. In this video, Sanjara delves into the names and histories of Tagarch Village, Tabilhat Village, and Tsoh Ushtal. He also discusses the population structure and sociocultural diversity of these areas.
